  • The San Pedro de Alcántara feria is undoubtedly one of the highlights on the Marbella calendar of events. San Pedro property sales and rentals have seen a resurgence since the town’s complete makeover with its newly renovated boulevard, the dazzling spot lit reptilian style bridge and the building of the underpass. It is therefore it is hardly surprising too that the San Pedro de Alcántara’s Feria which is taking place right now in honour of their patron saint San Pedro is one of the most widely visited ferias in the province of Marbella not only due to many tourists flocking there that has brought the Costa del Sol into the 21st Century but also because of the large influx of buyers, business owners who have been drawn to the area as it now has substantial investment potential.
This year’s feria, which closes this weekend, certainly did not disappoint. Having watched the parade of giants at the start of the feria which clearly delighted both the younger and the older generation, the throng of tourists and residents alike sampled many traditional Spanish and international dishes, local meats and cheeses whilst imbibing jugs of sangria, enjoying the live music with the kids kept entertained with the dodgems and plenty of other rides. The new location is fabulous. Much better than the previous location. The pathways are very easy to navigate, no hills or awkward climbs. There is a kids “lost” area where parents can meet with authorities to find their missing children and the interior space (where the events are held indoors) were bustling with activity; dancing, food and games.
San Pedro property is highly sought after at the moment. Whether you’re looking to buy a property as a holiday home, investment or to live permanently in, here at Stand Marbella Real estate we have a very interesting selection of properties, from studios, apartments and penthouses to villas and super luxurious mansion.
